your hair should be a damn
vibe
It all kicked off with a whimsical daydream about the life I so desperately wished for.
I envisioned a sanctuary where I could nurture a team of like-minded artists, allowing them to express their true selves without reservation. A space that encourages freedom of creativity and expression while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Here, artists could run their own businesses, inspired by the collaborative spirit of a team, with competition being a foreign concept.
I carefully considered the kind of client experience I wished to create for my guests. I imagined a relaxed atmosphere where you could stroll in with a messy top knot and sweatpants, or dressed to impress in your favorite outfit. Regardless of your style, you would feel at home and truly belong.
Hosting is a passion of mine, and I wanted to incorporate that into my business. Offering seasonal drinks served in charming glasses alongside delightful snacks, I aimed to make my clients feel as though they were simply hanging out in my home. My intention was to foster an environment that empowers, embraces, and nurtures genuine connections with each client. My aspiration was to provide the ultimate salon experience, a true home away from home.
I desired a space that was unlike any salon I had ever encountered. As a maximalist at heart, I wanted to express this unique aesthetic fully.
With all of that in mind, House of Hair was born.
